The easiest way to keep planer knives (strugers) and thicknessers in good condition without removing them from the machine.
Two sharpening elements made of alumina with two gradations 180 and 400. By default, gradation 400 is mounted diagonally, and 180 perpendicularly. They can be swapped places.
The sharpener has a comfortable wooden handle with a length of 100mm and a width of 30mm. Simply apply the sharpener to the edge of the blade and move it with even pressure, and this should restore the blade to its former glory.
Please note that the sharpener is not designed to sharpen damaged or chipped knives.
