• Adapted for use in a carpentry workshop - its appropriate thickness allows you to mount a planer in a vice, and the appropriate length and width allow you to polish both narrow chisels and very wide planer knives or even axes.
• At the same time, it is comfortable enough that you can grab it in your hand and thus comfortably polish woodcarving knives or kitchen knives.
• It can be used both with and without the use of polishing paste.
• The polisher is made of seasoned beech wood with a thickness that minimizes the effect of wood warping, but every effort should be made to store it in a dry room.
• To maintain the effectiveness of the polisher, it should be insulated from dust, dirt and other contaminants.

How to use:

• After finishing polishing on a fine-grained stone, wipe the blade thoroughly and proceed to polishing on a polisher.
• On the rough side (so-called. mizdra) apply polishing paste (you can also use it without paste) and move the blade of the tool, as in the case of sharpening on stone. In this case, however, we do it only in one direction (from the blade) and use much less force - the applied pressure should be very small. Drag the blade through the entire length of the polisher. It is advisable to keep the angle at which the tool has been tightened. Usually a dozen strokes are enough, sometimes you will need ok. 20-30.
• If we used polishing paste - wipe the blade.
• Then the same movements, also with little pressure, are performed on the smooth side of the polisher (so-called. full-grain) - this is the final stage of polishing. It is usually done without polishing paste.
• The entire blade should be protected with oil at the end.

Comments:

• The polisher is supplied without tools and without polishing paste.
• For use in dry environments. The polish cannot come into contact with water.
