• Polishing paste from the French company Merard has abrasive particles of 3 µ (0,003 mm), suitable for the final stage of sharpening or polishing on the skin.
• Both sides of the skin can be used both with and without the use of polishing paste.
• To maintain efficiency, the kit should be insulated from dust, dirt, and other contaminants.
• There are various theories regarding cleaning the skin of excess paste and steel particles contained in it. Some say that it is completely unnecessary, others recommend cleaning it regularly every few months. If we decide to do this, we can do it for example. using coarse sandpaper or copper brush.

How to use:

• On the rough side (so-called. mizdra) apply polishing paste (you can also use it without paste) and move the blade of the tool. We do it only in one direction (from the blade) and use little force - the pressure used should be very small. Drag the blade through the entire length of the polisher. It is advisable to keep the angle at which the tool has been tightened. Usually a dozen strokes are enough, sometimes you will need ok. 20-30.
• If we used polishing paste - wipe the blade.
• Then the same movements, also with little pressure, are performed on the smooth side of the skin (so-called. full-grain) - this is the final stage of polishing. It is usually done without polishing paste.
• The whole blade should be protected with oil at the end
