Efficient aeration pump. Oxygen is needed in every pond. In summer, in hot weather, the pump provides oxygen to fish, and in winter it prevents fish from sleeping under the ice, creating an antifreeze hole. Some species of fish, e.g. sturgeons have particularly high oxygen requirements and then additional oxygenation is necessary. Biological filtration of the pond also depends on good oxygenation of water. The size of the pump is selected depending on the size of the pond and the number of fish.
