The EBERG® dehumidifier effectively removes excess moisture, unpleasant odors and prevents mold formation. Ideally suited for small and medium-sized rooms such as bedrooms, living rooms, kitchens, bathrooms or basements.

The device is equipped with an intelligent digital control system/hygrometer, which automatically detects elevated air humidity levels and activates the dehumidification function until the target humidity level is reached.

The RICO model was designed for the free movement of the device. Thanks to the mounted wheels, light weight and dimensions, and specially profiled handles, the dehumidifier can be easily moved to a room that currently requires effective drying.

The dehumidifier is characterized by the possibility of direct drainage of water (to an external tank or drain), the function of TIMER, defrosting or automatic shutdown. All this makes the RICO dehumidifier almost maintenance-free, which significantly affects the comfort of use.

In order to run continuous drainage, you must:

1. Connect a 10 mm diameter PVC tube (supplied in the kit) to the drain nozzle, which is located at the back of the device above the tank.
2. To lead the cable outside, remove the cap in the flap and run the cable through it.
3. Make sure that the end of the hose is placed lower than the drain hole, otherwise the water will not drain and flooding may occur.

The device removes moisture from the air, using condensation of water vapor through a compressor refrigeration system. In this very simple way, we reduce the water content in the air, i.e. we reduce the humidity of the room wherever we want to remove excessive moisture from the room. As a result of lowering the condenser temperature below the dew point temperature, moisture contained in the air flows through the exchanger, and then the condensate is discharged into the water tank or discharged using a hose. The air thus dried is heated and forced back into the dried room.

When the humidity in the room where the laundry is dried is too high, the time needed to evaporate water from clothes is significantly extended. In extreme cases, it may be impossible to dry the laundry completely and the clothes will have an unpleasant smell.

EBERG® RICO allows you to immediately achieve the right conditions for drying laundry thanks to the automatic mode, which properly controls the level of air humidity at the set level. Not too fast so that the material does not break down (as it does at too high temperatures) but much faster than in a room without a dehumidifier.

This way, the fibers of the clothes will not be damaged, the colors will not fade, and the laundry will have a fresh and pleasant smell.

• Block in front of children - minimizes the risk of accidentally changing the settings of the device.
• Automatic defrosting - The device will automatically start the defrosting process when the coil sensor detects that the temperature is too low, at the same time the defrost function light will light up. After the defrosting is complete, the device will return to its previous operating mode.
• Automatic shutdown - When the tank fills up, the device will interrupt the dehumidification process and inform the user. After inserting the emptied tank, the device will resume operation.
• Hermetic system - Factory sealed refrigeration system guarantees tightness and reliable operation of the device.
