Once connected to a local Wi-Fi network, the WS50WH APP weather station will continuously update the weather forecast for the next 5 days by downloading data from the Internet.

The device also has a built-in temperature and humidity sensor, so you will be constantly informed about the thermal situation in your home. The included wireless outdoor sensor will provide you with relevant data on outdoor temperature and humidity.

In the mobile app, you can also set alerts to warn you when the set temperature is exceeded and set an alarm clock for all days of the week. You will also receive reports in the form of graphs on how the temperature and humidity values ​​were shaped for a given day or month.

There's Wi-Fi, there's fun!

WS50WH APP is a weather station that, thanks to its connection to the home Wi-Fi network and cooperation with the TUYA SMART application, can constantly update the weather forecast for the next 5 days. All you need to do is scan the appropriate QR code with your smartphone, which is available both in the user manual and on the box, and download the TUYA SMART application. Then turn on the station and start the Wi-Fi network search function of the weather station by pressing the button on the top panel of the housing. Now open the application and perform the configuration described in the user manual. Once successfully paired, the weather station will download data from the Internet and display it on the display. Data on the forecasted highest and lowest temperature, UV index and graphical weather forecast are constantly updated. Please note that the station works with a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network or a hybrid 2.4/5 GHz network, but does not support a 5 GHz network.

TUYA SMART is smart.

The TUYA application provides data from temperature and humidity sensors connected to the WS50WH APP weather station – you can check this data even if you are not within range of your home Wi-Fi network. The weather station transmits this information via a connection to the router and you can read it in the TUYA SMART application connected to the Internet anywhere. You're on holiday but want to check the weather conditions at your home – it couldn't be simpler! You glance at the app and you know everything.

Thermometer and hygrometer always at hand!

WS50WH APP has a built-in sensor to measure the temperature and humidity inside the room where it is applied. The additional wireless sensor included in the set can take measurements outdoors or in any selected location. Both temperature and humidity measurement data are continuously updated and displayed on the LCD display built into the weather station*. Additionally, the device has a memory of the lowest and highest values ​​of both temperature and humidity, which are reset automatically at the beginning of the next day. Temperature values ​​can be displayed in either degrees Celsius or degrees Fahrenheit.

Measurements from one sensor are not enough?

No problem. The station supports up to three external sensors, so you can add two additional optional Blaupunkt ACC20WS sensors to the sensor included in the set, set them on the appropriate channels (the sensors have 3 channels, switched manually) so that the signals do not interfere with each other and apply them wherever you want. You need to monitor the temperature and humidity in the bedroom, garage or home pantry - it's simple, leave the sensor there and you can read the measurement values ​​on the WS50WH APP weather station screen, and thanks to the LCD displays built into the optional ACC20WS sensors, you can also check the temperature and humidity values ​​wherever you place them.

What time is it, what day is it?

There is also a clock on the LCD screen that can display the current time in both 12- and 24-hour format. Thanks to this, the station also serves as a useful watch. Next to the clock, there is also a calendar that will tell you what day of the month it is and what day of the week it is. The names of the days of the week are available in seven languages ​​(DE, EN, FR, IT, SP, DU and DA) and can be changed when setting the calendar.

Hello! Incentive!

The WS50WH APP weather station also has an alarm function set in the TUYA SMART app, so if you need to get up earlier, simply set the time you want the alarm to go off and sleep soundly. The alarm will go off automatically, and if you want to sleep in a little longer, hit the snooze button and the alarm will go off again in 5 minutes. The alarm is triggered by a sound signal that lasts for 2 minutes – long enough to wake up even the biggest sleeper. You can also use the alarm not only to wake up – you can treat it as a reminder of some important events during the day that you don't want to miss.

"Puff, how hot! Phew, it's hot! ”

You know that feeling when you're hot and the radiator is still blazing hot? Or you're always cold because you didn't turn on the heating. To control the appropriate room temperature, you can set alarms in the TUYA SMART application connected to the WS50WH APP weather station that will warn you when pre-set temperature ranges are exceeded – both for the built-in sensor and for external sensors connected to the station. It works like this – for example, you set the temperature range for the internal sensor between 19 degrees and 23 degrees and if the air heats up above or cools down below this range, the weather station will emit a sound signal and the temperature readings will flash on the display. This reminder will help you prevent the room from overheating or cooling down – useful, isn't it? You can also set threshold values ​​for external sensors that will warn you about extremely low or high temperatures outside or in the room where you place these sensors.

Thermal comfort in a room is a very important issue that affects not only our well-being but also various objects in our home. When it is too humid, mold and fungi may grow and an unpleasant odor may linger in the apartment. Too high humidity can also damage various electronic devices in our apartment. On the other hand, too dry air can have a negative impact on our health. That is why it is worth ensuring the most appropriate conditions, and the thermal comfort level indicator will help in this, as it shows on the screen of the WS50WH APP weather station when the room is too dry, too humid and when it is most optimal.

LCD display! - are you kidding? Of course I'm lying.

The WS50WH APP weather station is equipped with a high-quality color LCD display that has a dimming function – and no, it does not cheat, it only changes the backlight brightness and, importantly, it does not do it on its own. You decide when to dim the display to avoid glare or to make it more visible.

Power supply.

You can connect the WS50WH APP weather station to a socket using the supplied 5V 1200mA power supply, and the wireless outdoor sensor with two AA batteries, which are included in the set. To ensure the station remembers its settings during a power outage, you need to purchase 3 AA batteries and install them in the compartment located on the back of the housing! The station can operate without these batteries, but if a power outage occurs you will need to re-enter the appropriate settings. These optional batteries can also be used as an alternative power source when you take the station to a location where you don't have access to electricity. When running on battery power, the display will automatically turn off after approximately 10 seconds to conserve battery life.

Additionally, there are battery level indicators on the LCD screen so you know when the batteries are running low and can replace them in time.

To put up or to hang?

Do what suits you best. The station's housing has been designed so that the entire device can be placed on a table, desk or windowsill, as well as hung on the wall, as there is a hole for a hook in the back, and the power cable is routed in a special channel that does not hinder such installation. The included wireless sensor can also be placed or hung. Remember to place the sensor in a place that is protected from wind and rain and shaded, without direct sunlight, which may adversely affect the temperature and humidity readings.
