Thermometer and hygrometer always at hand!

The WS30BK has a built-in sensor to measure the temperature and humidity inside the room where it is applied. The additional wireless sensor included in the set can take measurements outdoors or in any selected location. Both temperature and humidity measurement data are continuously updated and displayed on the LCD display built into the weather station*. Additionally, the device has a memory of the lowest and highest values ​​of both temperature and humidity, which are reset automatically at the beginning of the next day. Temperature values ​​can be displayed in either degrees Celsius or degrees Fahrenheit.

In addition to temperature and humidity readings, trend indicators for these parameters are available. The arrows appearing on the screen indicate how the measured values ​​have changed over the last hour. An up arrow indicates that the given parameter has increased its value, a down arrow indicates a decrease in the value of the given parameter, and a horizontal arrow indicates that the given value has not changed.

The WS30BK weather station display also includes a graphical weather forecast for the next 12-24 hours. Please note that this forecast is calculated based on temperature and humidity fluctuations and has limited accuracy, but it is a useful tool for estimating weather conditions for the next few hours in a specific location. Depending on the prevailing conditions, pictograms are available predicting sunny, partly cloudy, cloudy, rainy or snowy weather.

The pressure is dropping – it's time for a coffee!

The WS30BK weather station has a built-in sensor for measuring absolute atmospheric pressure, and the reading data appears on the display. If you feel a sudden drop in energy, or you are a weather freak, just glance at the display and if your blood pressure is low, it's a sign that you need to make yourself a cup of coffee.

Please note that this weather station reads absolute atmospheric pressure, which may differ from that given in official weather forecasts. The reason for this difference is that the relative pressure given in official weather forecasts is reduced to sea level. The absolute pressure indicated in this model is the pressure measured at a given location at the appropriate altitude.

Turn up the parameters!

The WS30BK weather station has been precisely calibrated at our manufacturing facility, but if for any reason you want to adjust the measurement values ​​to your needs, you can manually calibrate the indoor temperature, indoor humidity and pressure values. The calibration range for temperature is +/- 5 degrees, humidity +/- 10% and pressure +/- 9 hPa. When setting up your weather station, you can also manually adjust the appropriate weather forecast icons.

What time is it, what day is it?

There is also a clock on the LCD screen that can display the current time in both 12-hour and 24-hour format. Thanks to this, the station also serves as a useful watch. Next to the clock, there is also a calendar that will tell you what day of the month it is and what day of the week it is. The names of the days of the week are available in seven languages ​​(DE, EN, FR, IT, SP, DU and DA) and can be changed when setting the calendar.

Hello! Incentive!

The WS30BK weather station also has an alarm function, so if you need to get up earlier, simply set the time you want the alarm to go off and sleep soundly. The alarm will go off automatically, and if you want to sleep in a little longer, hit the snooze button and the alarm will go off again in 5 minutes. The alarm is triggered by a sound signal that lasts for 2 minutes – long enough to wake up even the biggest sleeper. Additionally, you can set different wake-up times for weekdays and weekends. You can also use the alarm not only to wake up – you can treat it as a reminder of some important events during the day that you don't want to miss.

LCD display! - are you kidding? Of course I'm lying.

The WS30BK weather station is equipped with a high-quality color LCD display that has a dimming function – and no, it doesn't cheat, it just changes the backlight brightness and, importantly, it doesn't do it on its own. You decide when to dim the display to avoid glare or to make it more visible.

Will I need to scrape my car windows?

You'll know the answer to this question before you leave home, because the WS30BK weather station also has a freezing point indicator. When the measured outdoor temperature reaches the low limit of 3°C, the device will emit a sound signal and the appropriate graphic symbol will appear on the display. When the temperature rises, the freezing point indicator will turn off automatically.

Measurements from one sensor are not enough?

No problem. The station supports up to three external sensors, so you can add two additional optional Blaupunkt ACC20WS sensors to the sensor included in the set, set them on the appropriate channels (the sensors have 3 channels, switched manually) so that the signals do not interfere with each other and apply them wherever you want. Need to monitor the temperature and humidity in your bedroom, garage or home pantry? Simply leave the sensor there and read the measurement values ​​on the WS30BK weather station screen. Thanks to the LCD displays built into the optional ACC20WS sensors, you can also check the temperature and humidity values ​​wherever you place them.

Power supply.

You can connect the WS30BK weather station to a socket using the supplied 5V 1200mA power supply and the wireless outdoor sensor using two AA batteries, which are included in the set. To ensure the station remembers its settings during a power outage, you need to purchase a CR2032 coin cell battery – but these are pennies, so don't worry! The station can work without it, but after a power outage you will have to enter the appropriate settings again. Additionally, the LCD screen has a battery level indicator for the outdoor sensor, so you know when the batteries are running low and can replace them in time.

You know that feeling when you're hot and the radiator is still blazing hot? Or you're always cold because you didn't turn on the heating. To control the appropriate room temperature, you can set alarms in the WS30BK weather station that will warn you when pre-set temperature ranges are exceeded – both for the built-in sensor and the external sensor. It works like this – you set the temperature range for the internal sensor between 19°C and 23°C and if the air heats up above or cools down below this range, the weather station will emit an audible signal and an appropriate icon will appear on the display. This reminder will help you prevent the room from overheating or cooling down – useful, isn't it? You can also set limit values ​​for the outdoor sensor that will warn you of extremely low or high outside temperatures.

To put up or to hang?

Do what suits you best. The station's housing has been designed so that the entire device can be placed on a table, desk, or windowsill, as well as hung on the wall, as there is a hole for a hook in the back, and the power cable is routed in a special channel that does not hinder such installation. The included wireless sensor can also be placed or hung. Remember to place the sensor in a place that is protected from wind and rain and shaded, without direct sunlight, which may adversely affect the temperature and humidity readings.
