The BLAUPUNKT WS30WH weather station will help you with this, which will display the temperature and humidity both indoors and outdoors. It will tell you if you are too dry or too humid in the living room, or if it is just right! In addition, you will find out what the current atmospheric pressure is and what the weather forecast for the next day is. The clock with alarm and calendar will also be useful in everyday life.

Thermometer and hygrometer always at hand!

The WS30WH has a built-in sensor to measure temperature and humidity inside the room where it is applied. An additional wireless sensor included in the kit can take measurements outdoors or in any location of your choice. Data on both temperature and humidity measurements are continuously updated and displayed on the LCD display, built into the weather station*. In addition, the device has a memory of measurements of the lowest and highest values of both temperature and humidity, which reset automatically when the next day begins. Temperature values can be displayed either in degrees Celsius or degrees Farenheit.

Measurements from one sensor are not enough?

No problem. The station supports up to three external sensors, so to the included sensor, you can buy an additional two optional Blaupunkt ACC20WS sensors, set them on the appropriate channels (the sensors have 3 channels, switched manually), so that the signals do not interfere with each other and apply them wherever you want. You need to monitor the temperature and humidity in the bedroom, garage or backyard pantry – nothing simpler, leave the sensor there and you can read the measurement values on the screen of the weather station WS30WH. Thanks to the built-in LCD displays ACC20WS, you can also check the temperature and humidity values where you put them.

Power.

You can connect the WS30WH weather station to the outlet using the supplied 5V 1200mA power supply and the wireless external sensor with two AA batteries, which are included in the set. In order for the station to remember the settings during a power outage, you need to buy a CR2032 lozenge battery – but these are penny matters, so you have nothing to worry about! The station can operate without it, only after a power outage you will have to enter the appropriate settings again. In addition, an external sensor battery level indicator is available on the LCD screen so that you know when the batteries are running low and that you can replace them in time.

Thermal comfort in the room is a very important matter that affects our well-being, but also various items in our home. When it is too humid, mold and fungus can erupt, and there may be an unpleasant smell in the apartment. Too high humidity can also lead to damage to various electronic devices in our apartment. In turn, too dry air can have a negative impact on our health. Therefore, it is worth taking care of the most appropriate conditions, and this will help the thermal comfort level indicator, which shows on the screen of the weather station WS30WH when the room is too dry, when it is too humid and when it is most optimal.

“Puff how hot! How hot! ”

You know that feeling when you're hot and the radiator is still warming up? Or you're still cold because you didn't turn on the heat. To control the right temperature in the room, in the WS30BK weather station you can set alarms that will warn you about exceeding the pre-set temperature ranges – both for the sensor built into the station and for the external sensor. This works – you set the temperature range for the internal sensor in the range from 19°C to 23°C and if the air heats up above or cools below this range, then an audible signal and the corresponding icon on the display will appear in the weather station. Such a reminder will help you prevent overheating or cooling of the room – isn’t it useful? For an external sensor, you can also set limit values that will alert you to extremely low or high temperatures outside.

Should I put it up or suspend it?

Do as you like best. The housing of the station has been designed in such a way that the entire device can be placed on a table, desk or windowsill, as well as hung on the wall, because in the back of it there is a hole for a hook, and the power cord is guided in a special channel that does not hinder such installation. The included wireless sensor also has the ability to be both placed and hung. Remember to place the sensor in a place sheltered from wind and rain and shaded, without direct sunlight, which may adversely affect the reading of temperature and humidity values.

Explore the trends in your environment...of course, weather trends.

In addition to temperature and humidity readings, trend indicators of these parameters are available. The arrows appearing on the screen indicate how the measured values have changed in the last hour. An upward arrow indicates that a given parameter has increased its value, an downward arrow indicates a decrease in the value of a given parameter, and a horizontal arrow indicates that the value has not changed.

You don’t have to wait for the weather forecast – just look at our station!

The WS30WH weather station display also provides a graphical weather forecast for the next 12-24 hours. Please note that this forecast is calculated based on temperature and humidity fluctuations and has limited accuracy, however, it is a useful tool for estimating weather conditions for the coming hours in a specific location. Depending on the prevailing conditions, pictograms are available to predict solar weather, partial cloud cover, cloud cover, rain or snow.

Pressure is dropping – it’s time for coffee!

The WS30WH weather station has a built-in sensor to measure absolute atmospheric pressure, and reading data appears on the display. If you feel a sudden drop in energy, or you are a meteopath, just look at the display and if the pressure is low, it is a sign that you need to prepare yourself a cup of coffee.

Please note that this weather station reads absolute atmospheric pressure, which may differ from that given in official weather forecasts. The reason for this difference is that the relative pressure given in the official weather forecasts is reduced to sea level. Absolute pressure, indicated in this model, is the pressure measured in a given place at the appropriate height.

Turn up the parameters!

The WS30WH weather station has been accurately calibrated in our production facility, but if for some reason you want to adjust the measurement values to your needs, you can manually calibrate the indoor temperature, indoor humidity and pressure values. The temperature calibration range is +/- 5 degrees, humidity +/- 10% and pressure +/- 9 hPa. When setting up a weather station, you can also manually adjust the corresponding weather forecast pictograms.

What time is it today?

There is also a clock on the LCD screen that can display the current time in both 12 and 24-hour formats. Thanks to this, the station also acts as a useful watch. Next to the clock there is also a calendar that will inform you about what day of the month it is and what day of the week it is. The names of the days of the week are available in seven languages (DE, EN, FR, IT, SP, DU and DA) and can be changed when setting the calendar.

The WS30WH weather station also has an alarm function, so if you need to get up early, just set the time you want the alarm to go off and sleep soundly. The alarm will turn on automatically, and if you want to sleep even longer, turn on the snooze function and the alarm will turn on again in 5 minutes. The alarm is implemented using a sound signal that lasts for 2 minutes – this is long enough to wake up even the largest sleeper. Additionally, you can set different wake-up times on business days and others on weekends. You can also use the alarm not only to wake up – you can treat it as a reminder of some important events during the day that you do not want to miss.

The WS30WH weather station is equipped with a high-quality color LCD display that has a dimming function – and no, it does not cheat, but changes the brightness of the backlight and, importantly, does not do it alone. You decide when to dim the display so that it does not hurt or is more visible.

Will I have to scrape the windows in the car?

You will know the answer to this question before you leave the house, because the weather station WS30WH also has a freezing point indicator. When the measured external temperature reaches a limit value of 3°C, the device will emit an audible signal, and the corresponding graphic symbol will appear on the display. When the temperature rises, the freezing point indicator will turn off automatically.
