✉ FAQ✉
- 1 How exactly does the station synchronize time with radio signal? Do you need to place it close to the window?
The station synchronises time through the DCF77 signal (from an antenna in Germany), which transmits only time and date information, without weather forecast. Due to disturbances and obstacles (e.g. walls, metal structures) signal may not reach everywhere, especially during the day.
For better reception, it is recommended to place the station close to the window and leave it overnight when the interference is usually less. If the signal is not received, you can set the time manually. The station will automatically attempt to sync hourly at night between 01:00 and 05:00 when the number of interference signals is usually lower.
- 2 What are the modes/levels of display and frame backlighting?
The station has 3 backlight modes, which can be easily adjusted using the touch button under the display.
2 🇦 - the strongest: the display and the frame have maximum brightness
2 🇧 - medium: the display and the frame have a rather delicate backlight (night light)
2 🇨 - off: we can see the display indicators at a certain angle, while the frame is off (night mode). You cannot separately control the backlight of the display and the backlight of the frame.
- 3 Can I turn off the screen backlight while working on batteries?
When running on batteries, the screen automatically goes into medium brightness mode, making it impossible to set full brightness. The weather station is illuminated only when you wake it up with a button under the screen. The backlight turns on for a few seconds and then expires.
The station does not light up all the time, because continuous backlighting would cause a quick discharge of the battery, which is mainly used to maintain settings (such as time, date, time zone) and provide basic functionality of the station. The main power source is the power supply, not the batteries.
- 4 What are the dimensions of the station and its display?

- 5 What are the maximum operating distances of external sensors? Does the range work well through walls?
The range of external sensors is up to 80 meters in a straight line and open space. For obstacles such as walls, the range may decrease, especially if they are thick or made of signal limiting materials (e.g. concrete). The range through the walls can be about 20-30 meters, but it depends on the structure of the building. Under ideal conditions, in a clean space without interference, the range can be up to 100 meters, but the operation of the sensors may become less stable over longer distances.
- 6 External sensor shows questionable measurements?
To ensure accurate measurements and long service life, it should be placed in a place sheltered from rain, snow, direct sunlight and strong wind. The ideal place is e.g. covered balcony, veranda or place under the roof. Direct sunlight or wind can falsify temperature and humidity readings.
- 7 Does the device have a polish menu?
The interface in the current version of the product is in English. On the other hand, the days of the week can be set in Polish, Czech, English, German, Danish, French or Italian. The markings on the station are so intuitive that the basic information is easy to understand even without knowing the language.
- 8 What is the weather forecast and what accuracy can it be attributed to?
The weather forecast displayed by the station is indicative and is based on changes in atmospheric pressure and other factors. It should be taken as a guideline, not an accurate prophecy. A weather station helps predict general weather trends, such as deterioration in the weather.
- 9 Is it possible to manually calibrate pressure or temperature values?
The weather station does not allow manual calibration of pressure or temperature values. The device automatically reads these parameters using built-in sensors. In case of temperature and humidity problems, the accuracy of the weather station and external sensor is ±1°C. The sensor takes some time to adapt to ambient conditions, so you should usually leave it on for more than 1 hour for more accurate readings.
