🟦 What is ozone?

Ozone, sometimes called activated oxygen, o3, contains three oxygen atoms rather than two, like the oxygen we breathe, on a daily basis. Ozone is the second most powerful sterilizer known to man, able to destroy bacteria, viruses and unpleasant odors. Although ozone is very strong, it has a very short life cycle. When it comes into contact with bacteria, viruses or odors, an additional oxygen atom destroys them completely through oxidation. During this process, an additional oxygen atom is destroyed and nothing remains, neither bacteria nor odor, the only remnant being pure oxygen.
