Paella is a Spanish traditional dish that is prepared and served in a special pan called paellera (read. paejera). The size of the paeller is very important, in which the dish will be prepared. If four or five people are to enjoy it, its diameter should be about 40 cm. If it is to be consumed by six to eight people, it should measure about 50 cm. When the dish is ready, put the pan in the middle of the table. According to tradition, the dishes were not portioned into separate plates for guests. Each person took a bite of the dish with a wooden spoon directly from the paellera.
