Use and storage

Before use, make sure that both vehicles are turned off and the order of connection of the clam is correct: first plus (+) to the discharged battery, then plus (+) to the donor battery, then minus (–) to the donor battery, and the last terminal minus (–) to the weight of the recipient vehicle (e.g. metal engine component) — not directly to the pole of the discharged battery. When the startup is complete, the clamp disconnects in reverse order.

The included cover makes it easy to store cables in the trunk and protects them from mechanical damage and dirt.
