The new Signal family of multiswitches enables the implementation of RTV/SAT installations in single-family houses and small residential and office buildings. Multiswitches are designed to work inside the building. Multi-band switches are dedicated to installations based on the star topology. In these types of systems, wires from end sockets converge at the place of installation of a multiswitch or a group of multiswitches. High separation of outputs (no crosstalk between bands and polarities) and built-in pre-correction of cable characteristics allows to eliminate the impact of cable attenuation increasing with frequency.

The switch is equipped with a passive terrestrial television track, so it is recommended to use an antenna preamplifier or amplifier, which will compensate for the attenuation of the multiswitch (12 dB) and passive elements in the installation (wire, sockets, connectors) in the terrestrial television track. The choice of the amplifier should also take into account the level of the signal from the transmitter (power and height of the transmitter suspension, distance to the receiving point, antenna gain, terrain between the transmitter and the receiver).

Multiswitch is equipped with a 12 V voltage switch in the antenna track.

In order to power the amplifier, it should be set in the "On" position. If an amplifier with its own power supply is used, e.g. CA-215 (with gain adjustment) leave the switch in the "Off" position.

Multiswitch and power supply are equipped with LED power status lights. When working properly, both should shine.

If after connecting the terrestrial antenna and turning on the power supply, the diodes on the power supply and multiswitch blink, this indicates a short circuit in the terrestrial antenna track. This may be due to switching on powered in the ground track at the antenna without an amplifier or poor earning of connectors (the circuit between the central cable and the cable screen braid). You should immediately turn off the voltage and remove the cause.

The use of a separate amplifier has the following advantages:

• optimization of installation costs,
• choice of the most suitable amplifier (gain level, installation location, separate VHF and UHF adjustment),
• powering the amplifier from the multiswitch (no separate power supply is needed).

The device distributes signal from one satellite and terrestrial television and FM radio up to four sockets. Therefore, we can connect up to four single-head satellite tuners. If the tuner has a hard disk drive (PVR), then two multiswitch outputs should be reserved for its needs. Unused multiswitch outputs should be loaded with a 75 Om resistor
