WorK Sharp WSKTS MK.2 is a modernized version of the WSKTS electric sharpener, which allows you to sharpen all types of knives and tools, providing additional convenience, better control and speed of work.

WSKTS MK.2 was created on the experience and success of the WSKTS sharpener, offering better functionality and ease of sharpening. Using WSKTS MK.2 flexible abrasive belts, we can sharpen not only knives with a smooth blade, but also knives with serrated and curved blades, tanto blades, filleting knives, skinning hooks, scissors, axes, mower blades and other tools with a cutting edge.

Changes in relation to Generation I:

• 2 operating modes: fast for grinding, standard for precise sharpening,
• modernized guide with 2 sharpening angles of 20° and 25° with leather inserts,
• integrated 65° guide for sharpening scissors.

Two modes of operation

The new two-speed motor has 2 operating modes: standard low speed, providing more control when sharpening the knife, and fast with the high power necessary for grinding heavy and hard tools such as mower blades, axes and other popular lawn and garden care tools. Such functionality guarantees full control over the sharpening process and allows you to adjust the speed of the tape depending on the work performed, i.e. Grinding and deburring, ending with smoothing and polishing.

Guarantee of maintaining the angle

In the second generation shell, instead of two interchangeable guides, one overlay with two sharpening angles was used: 20° and 25°. This allows you to conveniently sharpen kitchen and outdoor knives without having to move the guides and prevents losing one of them. An additional convenience is the use of leather inserts, which when dragging the blade protect against scratches and gently polish the cut. The lower blade guides have also been modernized to help maintain the factory sharp profile. The flexible design allows the guides to tilt, ensuring that the entire length of the blade is sharpen. The advantage of this solution is more convenient sharpening of knives with a double-sided dowel. Thanks to the possibility of removing the WorK Sharp guide, WSKTS MK.2 also allows you to grind large tools and technical blades, e.g. axes and blades for lawn mowers.

The Work Sharp WSKTS MK.2 electric sharpener allows you to sharpen m.in.:

• pocket knives and knives for everyday use,
• hunting knives with a skinning hook,
• large outdoor knives,
• serrated knives,
• kitchen knives,
• filleting knives,
• knives with one-sided grinding,
• axes and cleavers,
• Spades and pruners.

Professional sharpening on abrasive belts

Professional knife makers use belt grinders and elastic abrasive belts to sharpen their products. Thanks to the Work Sharp WSKTS MK.2 electric sharpener, we can use this professional method at home and thus ensure the perfect sharpness of our tools. Abrasive belts allow you to quickly and precisely sharpen the knife to factory sharpness, without the need for expensive services. Depending on the condition of the cutting edge, we can use abrasive belts with 3 different gradations: 80, 220 and 6000 (included) for sharpening.

The set includes:

• 2 P80 alumina coarse belts (for repairing and changing the profile of the cutting edge),
• 2 medium grain belts P220 of ceramic oxide (for proper sharpening),
• 2 fine-grained belts with a gradation of 6000 silicon carbide (for finishing and polishing).

Guide for scissors

In the WSKTS2-I model there is an additional 65° guide dedicated to sharpening scissors. Sharpening from the hand does not guarantee the removal of a symmetrical cutting edge. The guide allows you to quickly and professionally restore the sharpness of your home shears whenever you need it.
