The SDS+ Makita DHR242 cordless hammer drill is equipped with a powerful and efficient brushless motor. With brushless technology, the tool offers longer run time on a single battery charge while reducing size and increased efficiency compared to a traditional brush motor. The hammer drill has three operating modes: hammerless drilling, hammer drilling and forging. The compact device generates a stroke energy of 2J at a frequency of 4700 beats per minute. In order to increase safety, a brake and friction clutch are used, protecting the operator from the effects of locking the drill during operation. For better comfort of use, the main handle is covered with a layer of rubber, and the side handle improves grip and control over the device. The hammer drill is also equipped with a protective circuit against overheating, overloading and deep discharge of the battery, which additionally protects and extends the life of the tool.
