With the launch of the Polish hammer drill model 1770, SKIL once again presented a hammer drill with SDS-Plus handle with an engine power of 850 W.

It has a pneumatic impact function for fast and effortless drilling in hard concrete, the impact lock for drilling and screwing in wood, steel, non-ferrous metals or plastics also has a rotation lock for work requiring forging. The hammer drill also has a forging function with free rotation.

The SDS-Plus drill and chisel mounting system ensures quick and easy replacement of accessories, while the right/left rotation direction switch allows you to use the device to screw and unscrew screws and bolts.

New generation transmission system and high power motor 850 W providing a large power reserve during forging and drilling, even when drilling long through holes (up to 100 cm).

SDS-Plus tool holder with dust cover for quick and easy replacement of drill, chisel or screwdriver bits.

New generation pneumatic impact mechanism for fast and efficient drilling in concrete, border, brick, stone, etc. – a new generation impact mechanism with impact transfer efficiency up to 2,8 J (max. drilling diameter in concrete with SDS-Plus Ø26 mm drill bits).

Light and very durable housing of the impact mechanism with a closed lubrication system, thanks to which the durability and strength of the hammer have been increased.

Very ergonomic rear handle covered with non-slip soft Softgrip material guarantees high work safety and great comfort of operation, provides an optimal angle between the tool and the workpiece, while guaranteeing precision during drilling and forging.

The Vario-Lock system allows the chisel to be positioned in 36 different positions, making it easier to forge in hard-to-reach places.

Around the axis of the device, the front additional handle with an adjustable drilling depth limiter, thanks to which the comfort of work has been increased, especially when drilling holes with large diameters and particularly useful during forging.
