• Measure the current pH of the water – the target value is 6,5-7,0.
• Based on the result, calculate the amount of preparation needed – 150 g for every 10 m³ of water reduces the pH level by about 0,2 units. (e.g. 450g of the preparation will lower the pH value from 7,2 to 7,0 in a 30 m³ pool).
• The measure should be added gradually, in portions directly to the skimmer, which will avoid overdose and possible damage to pool elements, such as grout or metal parts.
• When using automatic dosing systems, it is recommended to prepare and use 20% aqueous solution.

The correct pH concentration ideal for the skin is between 7.0 and 7.4. It should be remembered that during high temperature the pH of water increases, and during rain - it decreases.

The pH value is the most important parameter that affects the effectiveness of the disinfection process. Therefore, its size should be controlled and maintained at a constant level. The ideal pH range is between 7,0-7,4. Our preparations for increasing the value of this parameter: pH plus granules, pH plus liquid; for lowering: pH minus granules, pH minus liquid.

Algae are single- or multicellular organisms that produce organic compounds from inorganic chemicals contained in water, which are a breeding ground for bacteria in the water and a source of various types of contaminants. They reproduce very quickly and within a few hours are able to cover the slippery layer of the wall, stairs and the bottom of the pool. Therefore, it is necessary to inhibit the growth of algae and eliminate them from pool water. For this purpose, algaecides should be used. GOTIX Poland systematically recommends the use of quaternary amines in the form of the following preparations: Algae I, Algae Foghter.
