The FIDJI collection is a beautiful combination of beech wood in a matte, dark color with modern, minimalist and "cool" steel. PEUGEOT grinders have been used in kitchens around the world for nearly 200 years, becoming an icon of French cuisine. Most of the production cycle takes place at the PEUGEOT factory in Quingey located in the Doubs department in Burgundy. Thanks to full production control, the grinding mechanisms of the grinders are covered by a lifetime warranty.
Peugeot grinders use proprietary grinding mechanisms dedicated to different types of spices. Salt grinders can be used to grind coarse, sea and stone salt with granulation up to 4 mm. Pepper grinders are equipped with a special mechanism with a spiral shape of heaters, guaranteeing optimal introduction of grains and their grinding (granullation of grains up to 6 mm). Setting the grinding thickness in PEUGEOT grinders can be done either through traditional smooth adjustment by tightening the knob at the top of the body, or in the case of grinders with uSelect mechanism, by choosing one of the 6 degrees of grinding thickness.
The responsible pro-ecological policy of Peugeot means that the wood used for the production of mills is PEFC certified, and mostly comes from the local forests of the Franche-Comte region and only solvent-free paints friendly to health and the environment are used to paint the bodies.
