The TM-PX30 pulse oximeter is designed to measure the percentage of oxygenated hemoglobin to total hemoglobin. Non-invasive measurement of arterial blood oxygen saturation is obtained by directing red and infrared light through pulsating vessels. Pulsating arterioles in the path of light beams cause a change in the amount of light detected by the photodiode. The pulse oximeter determines the saturation of arterial blood with oxygen by measuring the absorption of red and infrared light.
The TM-PX30 pulse oximeter is indicated for non-invasive monitoring of functional oxygen saturation (SPO2) and heart rate measured using the SpO2 sensor. It can be used as a random inspection device at home, clinics and hospitals.
