Finger pulse oximeter is an electronic device with a four-color OLED display, designed to perform independent measurements. The offered pulse oximeter measures three basic vital parameters: blood oxygenation level (SPO2 saturation), peripheral PI perfurt, heart rate (pulse, heart rate). The device presents in graphical form a PLETH wave indicating changes in arterial blood volume with each heartbeat. The high quality of the device is confirmed by the 35-page EMC certificate.

The pulse oximeter operates on the principle of pulse oximetry based on light emission. Hemoglobin absorbs wavelengths (red light or infrared light) to varying degrees depending on whether it carries oxygen (oxyhemoglobin) or to a limited extent (reduced hemoglobin). Based on these differences, the device calculates the level of oxygenation of the blood, which is given as a percentage.

The correct result is the level of oxygenation of the blood from 95% to 99%. Higher levels, above 98%, occur during oxygen therapy. Lower levels may indicate respiratory failure.

The pulse oximeter is placed on the finger with the finger up. In order to make the correct reading, you must remain still. Conducting the examination can interfere with: nail polish, artificial nails, cold hands, examination performed in a room with low temperature.
