Alcad AI-200 Broadband Amplifier

The AI-200 amplifier is used as a subscriber amplifier to distribute the signal to several receivers. The basic feature of the amplifier is operation in the range of 40 - 318 MHz and 470 - 862 MHz. Thanks to the independent gain adjustment in the VHF and UHF range, it is possible to adjust the gain to the signal level in a given band. This makes it easier to build antenna installations using one cable to bring signals from all antennas (after adding up with a crossover). The amplifier can be used in some cable networks or collective installations. Due to the existence of a gap in the working band, these are networks that do not use S20 - S38 channels. The amplifier is recommended for use in situations where (without the amplifier the signal level) is sufficient to power one receiver, while insufficient for several receivers. If the signal level is low, other Alcad amplifiers are recommended, e.g. CA-210 with the possibility of powering preamplifiers.
