At the heart of the Cognity Tab 8 Pro is a processor with 4 cores (Quad-core) Cortex-A55 along with 3GB RAM!

The reader has a 7.8” eink screen with Carta technology with a built-in touch panel and smart LED backlight with color adjustment. It impresses with practicality, ease of touch operation, lightness and versatility.

Internal memory 32GB will accommodate a whole lot of books - forget about the suitcases weighted with them.

If you need more space, the Cognita Tab 8 Pro also has a microSD card reader with support for cards with a capacity of up to 256GB.

Built-in Wi-Fi 5 module, 2.4G/5G makes it easy to connect to and allows you to transfer files without using a cable wherever you need it.

Thanks to the latest E-Ink Carta technology, the screen has better contrast and a whiter background. Enhanced refresh allows you to read more pages without sacrificing quality without the “screen blink” effect.

Touch panel with anti-reflective coating

The Cognity Tab 8 Pro touch panel is covered with a special anti-reflective coating, thanks to which you can read books even in full sun. Touch screen provides intuitive, easy operation of the device.

PDF Reflow

Cognita Tab 8 Pro supports a very useful Reflow feature for PDF files. Reflow is a flow, i.e. breaking the content of a PDF file so that it is read as text as in a file, e.g. epub or fb2. The text automatically adjusts to the size of the page and thus the reading is pleasant and comfortable. The text can be further enlarged, which is impossible when reading the original PDF file.

TTS – text-to-speech conversion

TTS – ang. “text to speech”, or “text to speech” – is a speech synthesizer or function that allows you to convert written text into sound. With this feature, the Cognita Tab 8 Pro allows you to turn your book into an audiobook.

This feature is especially useful for people who like to listen to audiobooks, want to deepen their knowledge, language skills, or want to perform multiple tasks at once while enjoying their books.

Cognita Tab 8 Pro supports speech synthesizer in 24 languages such as: Polish, English, Danish, Finnish, French, Hindi, Bengali, Spanish, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Dutch, German, Norwegian, Portuguese, Russian, Swedish, Thai, Turkish, Vietnamese, Hungarian, Italian, Chinese.

Dictionary/Translator

Cognita Tab 8 Pro has built-in dictionary functions (stardict format) and a translator with many languages to choose from. The translator supports the translation of single words as well as entire paragraphs or pages.

The device also allows you to check the word in Wikipedia.

Library of Books

Cognita Tab 8 Pro allows you to display your library as tiles with book covers or a list of files, both in internal memory and on a memory card if it was placed in a reader.

The reader has the ability to set up its own shelf, Personal Space, secured with a password, where we can store our own favorite books, without the access of other people who have access to the device.

In addition to the name of the book/file, we can preview the file format (list) and the % of the book read.

The library can be viewed by Category: Library, Added, Read, Read and Unread.

Additionally, the library can be sorted, performed package actions, created a new folder, searched for a book, or viewed reading statistics.
