The plasma cutting process is used to cut electrically conductive materials. It involves local melting of the material and blowing it out, using a plasma stream with a high concentration of thermal and kinetic energy.

Operating modes and functions of the device

• 2T - function means to start working after pressing the button on the handle and stop it after releasing the button on the handle.

• 4T - pressing the button on the handle opens the solenoid valve, there is a preliminary gas outflow and an electric arc ignites. After ignition, the current has the value of the initial current. When the button is released, the value of the output current increases to the value of the welding current. Stopping the welding process occurs after pressing the button on the handle again.

• TEST - used to check the correct operation of the air system and its cleaning

• Mesh mode – automatic switching on of the pilot arc when the cutting continuity is lost (e.g. on grids), which minimizes time-consuming and energy-consuming re-ignition of the arc.

Ready to work after unpacking

The cutter has a mass cable, plasma handle 4m with pilot arc and an external air preparation unit with reducer for adjusting and controlling air pressure. The gas line is also included.

The air preparation unit with reducer is responsible for the correct conditioning of compressed air supplied to the device. It enables precise adjustment and constant control of the working pressure, which has a direct impact on the stability of the cutting process and the quality of the obtained edge. Thanks to the use of a reducer, the operator can easily adjust the air parameters to current needs, while protecting the components of the device from overload and ensuring its safe and reliable operation.

Contactless HF (pilot arc)

The plasma cutter is equipped with the function of non-contact plasma arc ignition. It consists in the fact that the ignition occurs without the need to contact the material, for which the built-in ionizer is responsible. The resulting plasma arc melts metal without any problems and, with the help of kinetic energy given by compressed air, ejects it from the fissure.
