The traditional hand-forged carbon steel wok is the finest known pan designed for Chinese cooking. Hammered steel repeatedly, thickens and perfectly conducts heat, thanks to which the wok heats up quickly and uniformly. Thanks to the use of carbon steel, during frying the wok is covered with a natural carbon coating, ensuring healthy cooking without food sticking. Forging also gives the wok walls a slight roughness, thanks to which the forming carbon patina has a much less tendency to fall off. Frying in this wok will give your dishes a real “wok hee” – the wok breath.
