❓ What exactly does the 18/10 steel symbol mean?

This is the highest standard of stainless steel used in professional gastronomy. 18% chromium provides excellent corrosion resistance, and 10% nickel is responsible for gloss and neutrality in contact with food (the pot does not change the taste of dishes). It is a much more durable and healthier material than cheaper 18/0 steel.

❓ Does the pot really work on every induction?

Yes. Thanks to the 5-layer bottom with magnetic layer, the pot is fully compatible with all induction hobs (even the most demanding ones). It also works on gas, ceramic and electric plates.

❓ Why does the bottom have 5 layers? Doesn't that extend the heating time?

On the contrary! The use of two aluminum plates and an iron core makes the bottom act as a heat accumulator. The pot heats up quickly, but more importantly – distributes heat perfectly evenly over the entire surface. Thanks to this, the dishes do not burn in one place, and after turning off the burner, the pot maintains the temperature much longer.

❓ Do the pot handles heat up?

The handles are made of steel, which allows them to be permanently attached and washed in the dishwasher. When cooking on induction, they usually remain cool or lukewarm. In the case of gas cookers, if the flame does not go beyond the outline of the bottom of the pot, the handles should also not burn. However, we always recommend caution when cooking for long periods of time.

❓ Is the pot dishwasher safe? T

Yes, the TYTAN line is designed to withstand heavy washing in dishwashers. High-quality 18/10 steel does not tarnish and retains its properties for years.

❓ Small, bright spots or "rainbow" tarnish appeared at the bottom of the pot. Is this a defect?

No, this is a natural phenomenon for high-quality stainless steel, resulting from the deposition of minerals contained in water or salt. The rainbow tarnish can be easily removed with a cloth with a little vinegar or lemon juice. To avoid white spots (pitting), salt should always be added to boiling water and stirred until dissolved.

❓ Is the lid resistant to high temperatures?

Yes, the lid is made of high strength tempered glass. It has a special vent that drains excess steam, preventing food from boiling and "jumping" the lid during cooking.

❓ What is the satin finish for inside and outside?

The satin pattern (brushed) is not only elegant, but above all practical. On such a surface, you can see much less water stains, fingerprints or minor scratches created during everyday use than on dishes polished to a high gloss.
