Evoxa HDR550 – is the most powerful and at the same time the most innovative model among Evoxa rotary polishers, dedicated to detailing and automotive varnishing.

This is due to the use of a unique two-stage transmission with an unusual arrangement of gears, which allowed to significantly increase their size and thus torque. Compared to HDR500, the new HDR550 has 30% more torque and more than 60% more mkII than HDR400. All this was achieved while maintaining the low weight of the machine and the perfect shape of the transmission chamber, which translates into great ergonomics of the entire polisher.

It is also very important that it was possible to maintain the working plate mounting system known from HDR500 close to the longitudinal axis of the body, which in practice translates into a very calm driving of the machine during operation because the center of gravity of the polisher is low above the element. As a result, the rotational movement of the working plate is subject to low precession. This phenomenon is known for its action, e.g. Rotary spinning top or gyroscope. In short, the higher above the element is the rotary polisher during operation, the more restless it is and then it is said about its worse “balancing”.

The body is made of very good quality plastic with soft Grip inserts on the front and back handles. The front grip covering the transmission compartment allows for comfortable support of the entire hand and a secure grip of the machine. The rear handle has a small diameter and is gently rounded, which is especially important for users with smaller hands. It is also convenient to place a wide switch button and its lock. Rotation controller located at the top of the machine in a place where it is easy to operate with your thumb.

On the back of the housing there are also rubber feet for comfortable and safe putting the machine on the floor and a 5-meter power cord is introduced into the housing using a movable holder that perfectly protects against interruption of the cable in this place.

A very extensive two-stage transmission allowed the use of a 1150W motor, which is the optimal combination of power and low heating. The engine cooperates with an effective speed stabilization system with a sensor that provides information about current revolutions. Thanks to this, the rotation stabilization system corrects and provides the right engine power on an ongoing basis to maintain the set revolutions. The electronics module also features a soft start function, making it easy to distribute the paste without splashing it. A very important feature of the polisher is the optimally selected rotation range from 400 to 2300 RPM. This allows you to work with pastes that require low revs without negatively affecting the load on the engine when working on small gears.
