Technical information:

• The product of the French company Merard, characterized by high (70/30) content of abrasive particles in relation to the binder. In cheaper pastes, this ratio is usually 30/70. Thanks to this, the effectiveness of the paste is very high, thus polishing takes less time.
• Pastes have different granularities, but we should not compare it with the granularity (granulation) of stones, because the effect of their action is different. This can be compared to stones scattered on a soft carpet, or a concrete floor, when we walk over them, our impressions will be completely different. It is the same with pastes and stones, where particles of abrasive material behave much less aggressively embedded in felt or leather than those particles of the same size embedded in a whetstone.
• Tools that come into contact with food after polishing should be washed thoroughly.

How to use:

• Apply a small amount of paste to felt or leather. We repeat the process quite often.
• After some time, it may be necessary to clean the skin/felt disc from excess paste.
