We use Polysphere instead of traditional sand or aggregate. In order to clean the filter cartridge, we clean it by hand washing (recommended cleaning every 4 weeks). Suitable for all sand pumps. The diameter of one filter ball is about 5 cm.
One 750g pack replaces 52kg of traditional sand (28g replaces 1kg of sand).
