A spacious water tank with a capacity of up to 5,5 liters ensures long, uninterrupted operation of the device. When the tank fills up, the dehumidifier will automatically go into standby mode, and the user will be notified using the sound signal and the control diode on the display.

✔ Continuous drainage – without emptying the tank

The EBERG® EPD also enables continuous drainage of condensate thanks to a dedicated drain and the included PVC hose.

To start continuous drainage mode:

1. Connect the hose to the drain nozzle (on the right side of the device).
2. Lead the wire through the hole in the housing.
3. Make sure that the end of the hose is lower than the drain hole – it is crucial that the water can drain freely and not lead to flooding.

Plan your activities with 2 operating modes to choose from

• Continuous 'CONT' - the device will work continuously regardless of the current humidity level
• Automatic - the device can work to a set humidity in the range of 20-90%. This mode allows you to precisely maintain a given humidity level and save energy by switching the device in standby mode when the humidity level falls below the setting. When this level rises again, the device will start automatically.

thanks to the compressor refrigeration system

The device removes moisture from the air, using condensation of water vapor through a compressor refrigeration system. In this very simple way, we reduce the water content in the air, i.e. we reduce the humidity of the room wherever we want to remove excessive moisture from the room. As a result of lowering the condenser temperature below the dew point temperature, moisture contained in the air flows through the exchanger, and then the condensate is discharged into the water tank or discharged using a hose. The air thus dried is heated and forced back into the dried room.

The washable air filter protects the device from any contaminants/dust, ensuring that the device will work efficiently and trouble-free for years to come. The filter can be easily removed and washed under running water. The door with the filter is closed with a magnet, which allows for tool-free removal of the filter in an easy and quick way.

• Automatic defrosting - The device will automatically start the defrosting process when the coil sensor detects that the temperature is too low, at the same time the defrost function light will light up. After the defrosting process is complete, the device will return to its previous operating mode.
• Automatic shutdown - After filling the tank, the device will interrupt the dehumidification process and inform the user about it using a control diode and alarm. After inserting the emptied tank, the device will resume operation.
• Hermetic system - Factory sealed refrigeration system guarantees tightness and reliable operation of the device.
• Overload protection - In case of power loss, in order to protect the compressor, there is a 3-minute delay of restarting the compressor.
• Memory function of the last settings - In case of sudden power failure or accidental disconnection of the power plug, after restoring power, the device will start automatically, with the last set settings. The operation of the device will continue until the next shutdown of the device.

• How much should the filter be replaced? - The filter is washable and does not require replacement. It is enough to regularly wash the filter under running water, dry and put back in the device.
• How many m2 is enough/for what size of rooms will it work? - The efficiency of the dehumidifier depends on the air parameters in the room and the effect we want to achieve. The EPD series is designed for large rooms over 35m2, industrial halls, etc. and wherever the amount of moisture gains is very large.
