The new Wide Dynamic Range Optics optical system reduces the size of the VPL-XW5000ES projector and makes better use of the laser light source. It also increases the richness of colors, thanks to which the image has a natural color scheme and unusual contrast even in bright environments.

Compact, sleek, suitable for any home

The world's most compact HDR laser projector with native 4K resolution*

Sleek, harmonizing with modern interiors, the VPL-XW5000ES is the world’s most compact HDR laser projector with native 4K* resolution. To make the VPL-XW5000ES smaller and lighter than its predecessors, we designed a new SXRD panel with native 4K resolution and a compact Wide Dynamic Range Optics optical system. As a result, the volume is about 30% smaller and the weight is about 35% smaller than the VPL-VW790ES, which has the same high brightness.

Not only is the VPL-XW5000ES projector distinguished by its excellent performance and performance – thanks to its mercury-free laser light source and lower energy consumption per lumens than in previous models, it is also more planet-friendly.

Compared to the VPL-VW790ES, the amount of plastic from primary raw materials used in the projector has decreased by more than a quarter. The amount of packaging materials has also decreased by more than 15%.

Smooth movement on the screen

To make sports and action cinema look smoother and clearer, 4K Motionflow™ technology generates additional frames that prevent blurring of the image on the screen. For purists, True Theatre mode is designed, maintaining the original rate of display of the image: 24 frames per second.

As fast as you are

Input signal delay reduction mode significantly reduces the waiting time for the image to be displayed on the screen. Stay ahead of your rivals with very quick reactions and bring an extra dose of excitement to the game. For 4K 60 Hz input signal, the projector delay does not exceed 21 ms and 2K 120 Hz signal does not exceed 13 ms.

Always visible whole picture

The compatibility of anamorphic lenses with 4K signals means that you can use older anamorphic lenses even when viewing 4K footage. The V-stretch function for 4K image ensures that your favorite formats are displayed correctly.
