Heart rate is the number of heart rate beats per minute. In general, each person’s heart rate ranges from 60 to 90 beats per minute. The perfusion index (PI) usually reflects the perfusion state of the patient’s limb and also shows the precision of instrument detection; that is, the test can still be performed even under low or weak perfusion conditions. The PI of a normal human body is 3% or greater.
