Provides non-invasive and safe testing

The pulse oximeter works by measuring the absorption of light by hemoglobin in the blood. It emits two beams of light: red and infrared. The difference in the absorption of these beams allows to calculate oxygen saturation, i.e. the amount of oxygen transported by hemoglobin. At the same time, by analyzing changes in light intensity caused by vascular pulsation, the device determines the heart rate.
