The device, after putting it on your finger and pressing the appropriate button, after a few seconds on the OLED display, shows the saturation level expressed as a percentage , heart rate, bar waveform, the so-called PLETH wave, perfusion index and graphical indication of heartbeats.
SPO2 is another symbol of saturation, meaning the oxygen saturation of hemoglobin in arterial blood.
Normal values in healthy people range from 93% to 99% . Measurement accuracy is ± 2% in the range of 70% ~ 99%
The pulse rate, i.e. the heart rate, is marked with the symbol PRBpm , which is expressed in the number of heart beats per minute. A range of 60 to 90 beats per minute is the normal range for a healthy person.
The Perfusion Index is an indicator of the strength of the pulse at the site where the pulse oximeter sensor is placed.
