The Magnum MIG 208 ALU SYNERGIA welding machine is an inverter semi-automatic welding machine designed for arc welding using the following method:
- MIG SYN - MIG-MAG welding using synergistic programs.
- MIG MAN - MIG-MAG welding with manual settings.
- MMA - Welding with wrapped electrodes
- TIG LIFT - Welding with a special handle with a valve, arcing is then carried out by lightly rubbing the non-melting electrode against the welded material.

☀ VERSATILITY OF THE DEVICE ☀
Migomat company MAGNUM is a device with a wide range of applications, designed as an inverter power source enabling welding with hot melt wire in a gas shield MIG/MAG or FCAW self-shielding wire (after changing polarity), welding with a buffer electrode MMA, as well as the TIG Lift method.
✔ MIG/MAG welding
Arc welding in gas shields is one of the most commonly used processes for the manufacture of welded structures. The semi-automatic welding process involves melting the edges of the welded object and the material of the hot melt electrode with the heat of an electric arc glowing between the electrode in the form of a solid wire and the welded detail, in an inert or active gas shield.
✔ Welding MMA
In the MMA method, a wrapped electrode is used, consisting of a metal core covered with a sheath. An electric arc is produced between the end of the electrode and the welded material. Arching is created by touching the end of the electrode to the welded material.
✔ Welding TIG DC
In the TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) method, the electric arc is ignitioned in an inert gas (argon) shield between the welded element and the non-melting electrode, made of pure tungsten or tungsten with additives. In TIG DC Lift mode, the arc glow occurs when the electrode comes into contact with the welded element. In TIG DC mode, the current is constant.

Thanks to the polarity change function, it is possible to weld without shielding gas, with FCAW self-shielding wire. The wire is designed for general production work, also in field conditions, and for welding structures that are not subject to impact requirements. Welding current DC(-).
Self-shielding powder wire fi 0,8mm/1kg E71T-GS is designed for welding ordinary carbon steels and increased strength not exceeding 510 MPa.
It is used in prefabrication, construction, tank production, agricultural equipment, etc. Used in both production and repair of equipment.

⭐LUTOSPELING - The device enables soldering, mainly used in the automotive industry, to connect galvanized sheets together without burning the galvanized layer.
⭐INDUCTANCE - optimizes arc characteristics depending on the thickness of the welded material. This function is useful when welding thin elements using the MIG/MAG method - it prevents them from burning out (the thinner the inductance element should be greater). Inductance affects the shape of the weld, its width, depth of melting and the number of splashes
⭐ EUROCONNECTOR - allows you to quickly change the handle and allows you to change the polarity for welding with self-shielding wire.
⭐ SPOOL GUN CONNECTOR - allows you to connect a special handle with space for an additional spool with wire.
⭐TWO-TAKT 2T - pressing the button initiates gas outflow and welding current, releasing the button turns off the welding current and gas outflow.
⭐FOUR-BAR 4T - pressing and releasing the handle button initiates gas outflow and welding current, re-pressing and releasing the button turns off the welding current and gas outflow
⭐SPOT WELDING SPOT - with the possibility of setting the welding time at the point. A function that allows you to perform even, spot welds or spot welding of thin plates with other elements. This method is used, for example. in the production of chassis and car bodies, but also in the home workshop.
✅ WIRE BURNING FUNCTION - BURN BACK - It is possible to regulate the time, through which the voltage at the output of the device still occurs after stopping the wire feeding. This function prevents the welding wire from getting stuck in the workpiece and prepares the end of the wire for the next arc strike. Higher function values cause the wire to burn closer to the current tip.
✅ ATC - this is an advanced thermal control function, active in the welding of thin materials up to 1,5 mm thick. The ATC function stabilizes the electric arc and reduces the peak value of the welding current, reducing the amount of heat transferred to the material. As a result, it greatly facilitates the welding of thin elements and results in less deformation of the material, less overheating and a narrow zone of heat impact
EFFICIENT OPERATION THANKS TO PROFESSIONAL WIRE FEEDER
The welder is equipped with a professional wire feeder, which guarantees stability and continuity of operation of the device.
2-roll feeder allows precise extension of the welding wire excluding its slippage.
The feeder has a quick wire change knob as well as a wire feed roller.
HANDLE WITH EURO CONNECTOR
The welder has a EURO socket for MIG welding wire. The socket allows you to quickly change the handle to the same standard and, most importantly, allows you to change the polarity for welding with FLUX self-shielding wire.
The warranty service is carried out in the door-to-door system without transport costs on the part of the user.
Inductance adjustment allows optimization of arc characteristics depending on the thickness of the welded element and the welding method and conditions.
The function is useful during MIG/MAG welding of thin elements, preventing them from burning out and soldering galvanized elements.
The thinner the MIG/MAG welded element, the higher the inductance (soft arc - less melting), for thick elements vice versa (hard arch - greater melting).
The standard neutral inductance setting is in the middle of the scale.
Changing the inductance value also reduces the amount of welding chips during CO2 shielded welding.
The optimal setting of the inductance value depends on several factors and may differ from the standard recommendations, it should be selected during welding tests by manipulating the potentiometer knob.
