Like all AlcoSense™ products, the Lite 2 is designed to make it as easy as possible to use. To perform the test, simply turn on the device, wait for it to count down to zero, and then blow until you hear a beep.

Designed in the UK by AlcoSense Laboratories, the AlcoSense Lite 2 is the successor to the market-recognized AlcoSense Lite.

Lite 2 has a modern and sleek design and handy dimensions. It can be discreetly carried in your pocket or purse. It measures only 110 mm in height, 21 mm in depth and 46 mm in width and weighs less than 150 grams (including batteries).

Comprehensible and legible test result

AlcoSense ™ Lite 2 shows the alcohol level in ‰ BAC (blood alcohol content in millimeters) to two decimal places (if you need a more accurate reading or the result given in milligrams per liter in (mg/L), please refer to the AlcoSense ™ Elite 3 specification.

A reading below 0.10 ‰ BAC will display a 0.00 ‰ BAC message, which means that the concentration of alcohol in the exhaled air is very low or zero.

When the test result is close to or above the acceptable limit, a warning “Do not drive” appears!

AlcoSense ™ Lite 2 is a project of the same team that developed the AlcoSense Excel, Pro and Ultra− models of the winners of the German Design Award 2018 and the Red Dot Product Design Award 2016. The pocket size makes it discreetly storageable. AlcoSense ™ Lite 2 measures only 110 mm (height) by 45 mm (width) by 21 mm (depth). It is powered by three AAA batteries, which means you can use it anywhere, anytime.

Easy service and calibration notifications

AlcoSense ™ Lite 2 is equipped with an ASC function, manually activated by the user. It involves deep cleaning of the sensor. This procedure should be carried out periodically to remove impurities such as alcohol vapour residues and oxidation from the surface of the sensor.

All breathalyzers, including those used by the police, require periodic calibration, which ensures their correct operation. Lite 2 will automatically remind the user of the need for calibration after 12 months or 300 tests.

Reusable

Thanks to the latest semiconductor sensor technology and innovations, the AlcoSense ™ Lite 2 can be used up to 300 times between calibrations. It is only important to note that Lite 2 does not remove alcohol residue from the sensor after each test. This means that you should wait at least 5 minutes between tests. If you need to test more frequently, we recommend that you consider purchasing one of our more advanced models.

AlcoSense ™ Lite 2 provides exceptional measurement precision in its price category. The measurement accuracy immediately after calibration is -0,00/+ 0,25 ‰ BAC at 0,50 ‰. Note: Lite 2 does not measure breath sample volume or airflow rate, which affects the accuracy of readings.
