➡ DN KAZUAR H49 AQUA adhesive is used for permanent repair of swimming pools made of PVC / PCV. It can be used dry, on wet surfaces and directly under water, so that in many cases the repair can be done without emptying the pool.

• ✔ Creates a waterproof and flexible connection, resistant to the work of the pool material.
• ✔ Allows you to repair tears, cracks and small holes in the walls and bottom of the pool.
• ✔ It can be used to stick a properly selected PVC / PCV patch, which must be prepared separately.
• ✔ It can provide a more durable solution than ad hoc protection of damage with waterproof tape or a simple adhesive patch.

✅ Application of glue – swimming pools and other applications

➡ DN KAZUAR H49 AQUA hybrid polymer adhesive can be used to repair and seal garden pools made of compatible PVC / PCV material. It will work both during repairs performed on a dry surface and on wet ground.

✅ What should I prepare myself?

➡ Depending on the type of repair, prepare appropriate auxiliary accessories:

• ✔ properly selected PVC / PCV patch
• ✔ sandpaper with gradation 120 – 200
• ✔ alcohol isopropyl or other degreasing agent
• ✔ Gloves protective
• ✔ scissors to trim the patch
• ✔ squeegee for cartridges

✅ Dry bonding:

• 1 Cleaning the gluing site:

  ✔ Remove any deposits from the gluing site. You can do this with a brush, rag or sponge.

  ✔ Make sure the place is clean even if it is wet.

• 2 Pattern trimming:

  ✔ Trim the patch so that it is 3-5 cm larger than the damage.

  ✔ For small holes: a patch about 1-2 cm larger than the hole is enough.

• 3 Surface preparation:

  ✔ Wipe both the patch and the gluing site with abrasive paper with a gradation of 120 – 200 to increase adhesive adhesion.

  ✔ After tarnishing the surface, remove the resulting dust.

• 4 Degreasing:

  ✔ Use isopropyl alcohol or other degreasing agent to clean the patch and the gluing site.

• 5 Adhesive application:

  ✔ Apply glue to the linear patch and around the edges.

  ✔ Spread the glue evenly.

  ✔ Press the patch to the damaged area.

• 6 Hardening:

  ✔ Minimum 24 hours before the adhesive reaches full strength.

  ✔ If the layer is thicker or the patch is large, the adhesive may dry for several days.

✅ Wet bonding (from the inside):

• 1 Cleaning of the gluing site:

✔ Remove any deposits from the gluing site. You can do this with a brush, rag or sponge.

✔ Make sure the place is clean even if it is wet.

• 2 Patch trimming:

✔ Trim the patch so that it is larger by 3-5 cm than the damage.

✔ For small holes: a patch of about 1-2 cm larger than the hole is enough.

• 3 Surface preparation:

✔ Wipe both the patch and the gluing site with 120 – 200 gradation sandpaper to increase adhesive adhesion.

✔ After tarnishing the surface, remove the resulting dust.

• 4 Degreasing:

✔ Use isopropyl alcohol or other degreasing agent to clean the patch.

• 5 Glue application:

✔ Apply glue to the linear patch and around the edges.

✔ Spread the glue evenly.

✔ Apply the patch in water so that the damage is in the middle of the patch.

✔ Strongly press to ensure good adhesion of glue and patches to the damaged surface.

• 6 Curing:

✔ Minimum 24 hours before the adhesive reaches full strength.

✔ If the layer is thicker or the patch is large, the adhesive may dry a few days.

☑ Important information before starting repairs
