Soeks Quantum is a professional dosimeter with two Geiger SBM 20-1 tubes. This ensures high measurement accuracy and makes it easier to locate the radiation source. The meter is designed to measure ionizing radiation – X, gamma, beta. The device can measure the dose taken, as well as the level of background radiation. It can run for up to 700 hours on battery (AAA batteries or rechargeable batteries).

SOEKS Quantum is a proven, trouble-free and long-lasting device (the design allows you to use without intervention for a period of > 10 years while maintaining full performance and high accuracy). It allows to maintain full linearity when measuring radiation.

What does this mean?

In the case of simple Asian devices, often after exceeding a certain dose value, the device indicates a decrease in value even though the radiation increases (such devices can indicate a value several hundred times lower than it actually is). This is illustrated in the chart below (the data for the chart comes from the calibration results of the Quantum device and the simple Asian equivalent). The Quantum device will not mislead us even during higher doses of radiation than those with which we are currently in contact.

The quality of the device has been repeatedly confirmed during certification. During the tests, we had no case that any copy of the device did not meet the requirements set by the Central Laboratory of Radiological Protection during calibration.

The meter has an extensive configuration menu, allows, for example, to set a warning threshold after exceeding which the device will display a message and inform with an audible signal. Soeks Quantum allows you to connect to a computer with Windows or Mac OS via USB port and download the measurement results from the device to the computer in Excel format. The manufacturer of the meter is SOEKS, which provides radiation meters for civilian and military applications (including civil defense, universities and institutions also in Poland). SOEKS has produced nearly 3 million measuring devices that are sold worldwide. Soeks Quantum is used in 40 countries around the world.
