Silky Outback - ideal saws for hunters and outdoorers

Outback is a new line of folding saws designed for outdoor use and hunting. The Outback series saws have saw blades coated entirely with a black protective coating of a mixture of nickel and tin. This unique coating increases the life of the blade, provides incredible cutting performance, making Outback saws easy to handle wood work as well as bone sawing. The matte finish prevents light reflection, which is why Silky outdoor saws can also be successfully used by soldiers. Another new element in the design of Outback saws is the material from which the handle is made.

Due to the fact that saws are often used in cold and humid conditions, Arbor plastics were used to build the handle. Laminat combines the features of wood and polymer, so it stays pleasantly warm even at low temperatures, and its rough texture provides a comfortable grip and excellent control.

Work safety is ensured by the lock, which allows you to lock the saw blade in two positions (when unfolded / when folded).

Three times harder saw blade

The blade is made of high-precision laser technology made of high-carbon steel that is resistant to wear and mechanical damage. The element that distinguishes Silky saw blades from the market competition is the unique hardening process. The teeth of the blade are heated and hardened only at the edges (pulse hardening), so they remain sharp up to three times longer than non-hardened teeth.

Mirai Me teeth

Silky saw blades have a special Mirai Me tooth profile with 4 cutting angles. The saw blade with this design allows for smooth longitudinal, transverse and diagonal cutting, leaving a smooth surface every time. To increase cutting efficiency and comfort, the saw blade has a conical cut (hourglass shape), which almost completely eliminates the phenomenon of saw wedge in the material and provides exceptional lightness and smoothness of work regardless of the material.

Universal size

Silky Gomboy Outback Edition has a 240 mm long saw blade with wide teething (8 teeth per 30 mm blade length), which is ideal for cutting fresh and dry wood and bone. The curved blade, unlike straight saws, accelerates cutting and increases work efficiency by up to 15-20%. The arched shape also prevents the saw from falling out of the kerf and makes it easier to cut branches located above our shoulders.

Arbor composite handle

Outdoor saws are used all year round, also in winter or in conditions with high humidity. Therefore, a special Arbor material was used to build the handle. The laminate combines the features of wood and polymer, thanks to which it remains pleasantly warm even at low temperatures , and its rough texture ensures a firm grip and good control over the saw. Work safety is ensured by the back lock, which secures the saw blade when unfolded and folded. The saw is folded in such a way that sharp teeth are completely hidden in the handle. This allows it to be safely carried in a backpack or hunting bag. Comes with a clear polymer case. =
