Filter for recuperator reQ V.400/550 filter reQ.V M5
Original filters for reQnet recuperators
Filters are suitable for control panels with the following markings:
- with countercurrent exchanger:
- reQ V.400 HRV
- reQ V.550 HRV
- with enthalpic countercurrent exchanger (with moisture recovery):
- reQ V.400 ERV
- reQ V.550 ERV
When purchasing filters, pay attention to the model of your recuperator (on the nameplate located on the device or in the device information in the reQnet mobile application).
By default, the control panel reminds you to replace filters every 90 days. We recommend replacing each set of M5 filters - supply and exhaust. In the case of an F7 or F9 fine filter installed to the control panel, it is necessary to check its condition more often, preferably once a month and replace it depending on its condition.
- M5 – basic filters with an increased level of filtration (classified as filters with an average level of pollution retention), are installed in the recuperator on the intake and extractor. Filters stop rough contaminants, i.e. insects, sand and large dust particles: dust, pollen, etc. Filter dimensions: 366x228x40 mm
Examples of filter configurations in reQnet recuperators:
- M5 intake and M5 exhaust (all year)
- F7 intake and M5 exhaust (optional in spring and summer season)
- M5 + F9 intake and M5 exhaust (optional in autumn and winter season)
Advantages of original reQnet filters:
- large number of pleats
- large filtration area in relation to filter size
- high quality filters
- Durable and flexible fiberglass frame
- clear arrow showing the direction of air flow
Why is air filtration so important?
Every day a person breathes about twenty kilograms of air. It is on its quality that the health and well-being of each of us largely depends. Particles smaller than 5 microns are not filtered through our body - the nose and trachea - getting deep into the lungs and can be dangerous to health. The main sources of dust are busy roads, industry, internal combustion engines, etc. Therefore, the role of filters in ventilation systems should not be underestimated, because it is at home that we spend most of our time every day.
Can pleated filters be cleaned?
Yes. It is worth wiping or vacuuming the filter from rough dirt and insects once in a while to extend its duration and reduce air flow resistance. However, it should be remembered that if the filter is already heavily soiled, it should be replaced immediately. Extending filter replacement cycles has a negative impact on the wear of fans in the recuperator and can lead to contamination of the control panel and heat exchanger and ventilation system.
