Do not stick the tape until you have thoroughly checked it with your equipment! Connect it according to the tips below to avoid problems. Gluing the tape can be problematic later on when returning it.

The adapter (box) requires connection to a 230V power supply via the included power supply (or a power supply with an EU adapter). The adapter does not require connection to a computer via USB, but requires connection to home WiFi.

Using tape requires first installing the EDUP LIGHT application from the manufacturer’s website and creating it to accounts on the EDUP server (an application dedicated to a computer with the Windows 10/11 system). After logging into the application, turn the tape into pairing mode by pressing and holding the Power button for 5s. The tape will start flashing alternately in red/no colors. At this point, go to the application and add the tape by pressing the big + button in the middle of the screen (in place of the chair:-)). In the first step of adding, it is required to provide the SSID of the wireless network and the key (password) so that the adapter (box) can connect to the wireless network. When pressed further, the tape will begin to evaporate - which should not take more than a minute. When the device is properly paired with WiFi, a new device called Back light will appear in the app. With such a paired device, we can already have fun...

Attention! If you install the software and have problems resulting from errors in the lack of libraries (or the option to synchronize with Music or Video will not work), uninstall the EDUP LIGHT application. Then first install the appropriate libraries from the link above and only then install the EDUP LIGHT application.
