OKUMA SURF SEA REEL 8K FD

Developed in collaboration with the best surfcasting anglers, the Surf 8K reel is designed to provide anglers with maximum distance with every throw. The conical spool with long stroke minimizes drag, and the Slow Oscillation System further reduces friction when casting – and generates extremely smooth line laying when reeling in. To match the casting capabilities of the reel, there are six stainless steel bearings and a quick-set anti-reverse under the lightweight yet durable Surf 8K graphite body, allowing for crushing jam jaws. The rigid metal handle allows you to take full advantage of the 40-pound fish retention power with its fast progressive brake system. Designed for maximum durability against corrosion, the Surf 8K is equipped with a Hydro Block seal that protects the brake system, and the patented Cyclonic Flow Rotor technology removes excess moisture from the reel housing thanks to a cyclone-like airflow.
