The controller is designed for remote control of the roller shutter or gate and other devices,
in which a single-phase alternating current motor 230V is used to work in two directions.
The motor should be equipped with limit switches.
The manual and programming of the controller is described in the paper manual in Polish and on the manufacturer’s website ELMES.
Driver functions
- KEELOQ® variable code from Microchip Technology Inc. The USA providing a high level of security,
- cooperation with 1 or 2 remote control buttons – selected jumper JP1,
- cooperation with all pilots of Elmes Elektronik production on the 433,92 MHz band,
- wired control by means of monostable circuit breakers (so-called. bells);
- control of an external lamp performing a warning or lighting function – selected with a jumper JP2,
- automatic closing after the programmed PAUSE time (1sec 4min) – selected with a jumper JP3,
- programmable engine operating time in the range: 1s - 4minutes,
- terminals for connecting a photocell (powering a photocell from a separate power supply),
- stopping and then opening the roller shutter/gate after the photocell is activated during closing,
- prolonging the PAUSE time when the photocell works.
Method of action
Depending on the JP1 jumper setting, the controller works with 1 or 2 remote control buttons as follows:
- jumper JP1 compact – cooperation with 2 remote control buttons, one button switches the controller in the OPEN-STOP cycle..., and the other – CLOSING-STOP-CLOSING...
- jumper JP1 open - cooperation with 1 remote control button in the cycle OPENING-STOP-CLOSING-STOP...
When the engine is turned on, it is turned off:
a) after pressing the remote control button or wired switch again,
b) after the limit switch connected in series with the motor has been activated,
c) after the programmed time (1s - 4 min),
d) after the photocell is activated (only during closing).
If the photocell is activated during the closing of the gate, it will stop, and after 1s it will be opened.
Gate self-closing function selected by jumper JP3:
- jumper JP3 compact – self-closing gate disabled,
- jumper JP3 open - self-closing of the gate enabled - after the gate is fully opened, the PAUSE time is counted down, after which the gate closes automatically. Using the remote during the PAUSE closes the gate.
The action of the photocell during the PAUSE prolongs its duration.
The lamp connected to the controller can perform two functions:
- lighting (JP2 jumper compact) – shines with continuous light during the movement of the gate and for the programmed time after stopping (this is the time equal to PAUSE).
- warning (JP2 jumper open) – pulsates slower during opening and PAUSE, faster during closing,
ATTENTION! The controller is powered from a 230V mains.
Installation can only take place with the mains voltage off.
Description of connection terminals (for network potential):
L - terminal of the 230V mains power supply PHASE cable,
N - 230V mains power supply zero cable terminal,
PE - protective grounding of the network,
PE - protective grounding of the engine,
OPEN - engine phase clamp /opening/,
middle - zero motor cable,
CLOSE - engine phase clamp /closing/,
- - exit to the lamp,
Description of connection terminals (currentless):
COM - common terminal for circuit breakers and photocells,
OP - wired switch – opening,
CL - wired circuit breaker – closing,
RS - signal from the photocell; if you do not install the photocell, the input is shorted from COM,
The controller should not be installed in places exposed to atmospheric factors.
The antenna of the controller is formed by a section of white wire with a length of 17cm.
In order to increase the operating range of remote controls, an external antenna can be connected to the receiver with a coaxial cable
rod or dipole directional, and disconnect the existing antenna wire.
The coaxial cable screen should be connected to the terminal: “⏚” of the antenna connector, and the middle cable (signal) to the terminal “A”.
Two 6 mm dowels are used to mount the controller to the wall.
The controller should be installed in such a way that the antenna cable hangs freely.
The antenna cable should not be permanently attached and glued to the walls.

Alarm transmissions are dynamically encoded in the KEELOQ® system from Microchip USA, ensuring the highest level of security.
Each press of the remote control button generates and sends a new code.
The receiver tracks these changes and only responds to new code. Codes once used are not accepted.
