1. Can other groats or quinoa be cooked in this appliance?

Yes! Although the device is dedicated to rice (any type: white, basmati, jasmine, sushi or brown), you can also successfully prepare millet, buckwheat, couscous or quinoa. You just need to remember to keep the right proportions of water.

2. How to choose the right amount of water and rice?

A special measuring cup is included. The standard ratio for most types of white rice is 1 scoop of rice per 1 to 1.5 scoops of water. Detailed tables for individual grain species can be found in the attached instruction manual.

3. Is the appliance bowl really dishwasher safe?

The manufacturer allows washing the bowl and glass lid in the dishwasher. However, to maximize the life of the non-stick coating and prevent tarnishing of the outer casing of the bowl under the influence of aggressive chemistry, we recommend occasional hand washing with a soft sponge – the non-stick coating makes it take only a few seconds.

4. What does the capacity of 1.4 liters mean?

This is the total capacity of the bowl. The working capacity for dry ingredients is about 0.8 liters, which after cooking (when rice swells and absorbs water) gives as much as 1.4 liters of the finished product, or about 6 full servings.

5. Will the appliance turn itself off after cooking?

Yes. The rice cooker has an intelligent sensor based on weight and temperature. When the rice absorbs all the water, the device automatically turns off the intensive cooking mode (Cook) and goes into heat retention mode (Warm). You don’t have to set any timers.
