Scientific aid useful in astronomy and geography lessons

It is a three-dimensional table model depicting the rotation of the Earth and the Moon around the Sun. This simple mechanical model will help your child understand what causes the seasons to change, why the Sun rises in the east, and why the year is twelve months old. Students set blue bodies in motion and learn what the solar system looks like and works.

The device consists of a body and a base attached with a screw. With its easy-to-turn crank, the Earth model can be moved around the Sun counterclockwise. Meanwhile, a miniature model of the Moon quickly orbits around the Earth model. During one orbit of the Earth around the Sun, the Moon orbits the Earth 12 times, reflecting 12 months of the year.

Inside the model of the Sun are lamps and batteries. The backlight is switched on with a button located at the bottom of the ball.

The sun is 100 mm in diameter, the earth is 85 mm and the moon is 18 mm.
