Samsung WindFree™ Elite S2 is an advanced wall air conditioner that combines the distinctive WindFree™ technology with intelligent control, motion sensor, extensive filtration system and automatic cleaning functions.

Instead of directing an intense stream of cold air directly at users, the device disperses air through thousands of micro-holes. Thanks to this, it can provide a pleasant coolness without feeling uncomfortable gusts. The Elite S2 series also offers AI Comfort, SmartThings, Tri-Care filter, Freeze Wash and intelligent work management based on detected presence of people in the room.

❄ WindFree™ technology – comfort without cold drafts

The most important solution used in Elite S2 is WindFree™ Cooling. Once the conditions are right, the device can dissipate cool air through thousands of micro-holes located in the front panel of the unit.

The gentle way of distributing air reduces the sensation of direct, cold stream. Samsung refers WindFree™ technology to the definition of ASHRAE's "still air", referred to as air flow below 0,15 m/s.

⚡ Fast Cooling

🧠 AI Comfort – intelligent work matching

The AI Comfort function analyzes the operating conditions of the device and how the air conditioner is used to automatically adjust its operation to the user’s preferences.

The system can remember data on settings and usage, helping to choose a comfortable temperature. The feature requires Wi-Fi connection and a Samsung SmartThings account.

👤 Motion sensor – intelligent cooling management

Elite S2 is equipped with a motion sensor that detects the presence of people in the room.

If no movement is detected for a certain period of time, the device can automatically switch to a more economical way of working. Samsung reports that after 20 minutes without motion detection, the unit can go into WindFree™ mode, then gradually reduce cooling and eventually go into standby mode. When motion is detected, the device can return to its previous settings.

The sensor can also work with the airflow control function to avoid direct airflow to individuals or track their movement in the room.

📱 Wi-Fi and Samsung SmartThings

Built-in Wi-Fi allows you to connect your air conditioner to the Samsung SmartThings app.

The user can remotely control the operation of the device, change settings and use the smart functions of the air conditioner using a smartphone.

🧼 Tri-Care filter

Samsung WindFree™ Elite S2 uses a Tri-Care filter to help capture fine dust particles and allergens.

The manufacturer also points to the filter limiting certain bacteria and viruses. The effectiveness of these properties has been tested by Intertek under certain laboratory conditions.

🧊 Freeze Wash – cleaning the exchanger by freezing

Freeze Wash uses the heat exchanger freezing and thawing cycle to help remove impurities from its surface.

According to the manufacturer’s information, Intertek laboratory tests showed the removal of more than 90% of bacteria from the surface of the exchanger under certain test conditions. This does not mean complete disinfection of the device during normal operation.

💧 Automatic cleaning

The Auto Clean function helps to dry the inside of the unit after completion of work, reducing moisture retention in the exchanger.

The solution supports the maintenance of the interior of the air conditioner in proper condition and reduces conditions conducive to the formation of unpleasant odors.

🌙 Good Sleep – comfort during sleep

Good Sleep mode adjusts the operation of the air conditioner to the conditions appropriate for night rest.
