A repeater is a small device (smaller than a portable flash drive) that allows you to increase the range of the Zigbee network in your home or office.

It is especially useful when you are not using Zigbee devices powered by 230V - these have the ability to transmit the signal over a longer distance and then the repeater is not needed.
