AlgoSol – an effective remedy for algae for ponds and ponds

Do you have a problem with green water, filamentous algae or cyanobacteria in your pond? AlgoSol is a proven and effective preparation that fights all types of algae and prevents their re-growth.

Thanks to the content of the SpektroSorp optical filter, AlgoSol reduces the amount of light reaching the water, blocking the process of photosynthesis in algae. Algae are “starved” and water regains its transparency and biological balance.

The most important advantages of AlgoSol:

AlgoSol works gradually over several days, so it does not disturb the biological balance in the tank. With regular use, it effectively protects the pond from algae recurrence.

Dosage:

• Preventively or in the initial phase of algae development: 50 ml of AlgoSol® per 1.000 liters of water. After 2-3 weeks repeat.
• In the case of a large amount of algae, it is advisable to use a double dose: 100 ml of AlgoSol® per 1.000 l of water.
• In case of cyanobacteria, we recommend a special dosage: for 5 consecutive days 10 ml per 1.000 l of water.
• The dose is measured with a bottle cap

How to use:

To optimize the effect, divide the dose and add to the water in 2 consecutive days.

Turn off the UV lamp for 48 hours before use.

Dissolve the measured amount of the preparation in water in a ratio of 1:20 (preferably in a watering can) and evenly spread over the surface of the tank.

On the day of administration of AlgoSol, do not use any other preparations so as not to detract from the effectiveness of AlgoSol.

If the pH of the water exceeds 8.6, the effectiveness of AlgoSol is much lower, then we recommend lowering the pH value using SOLL pH Minus and SOLL Teichfit.

Recommendations:

In order to protect the tank against algae re-growth, we recommend using phosphate absorbing agents derived from the decomposition of algae PhosLock AlgenStop or ZeoSpeed

Avoid direct contact of the undiluted preparation with plants as this may cause stains on their leaves.

Unused diluted product is not suitable for reuse.
