How to use stone for leveling?

1 Soaking (10 to 15 min)

Put both stones in the water. Wait until they stop bubbling – this is a sign that the porous structure has soaked well. Do not wipe them dry; they should be wet for leveling.

2 Mark and Align

On the stone you want to align, draw a dense grid with a pencil.

Place the repair stone firmly on the countertop or anti-slip mat.

Guide the working stone with the movements of the "eight", with light/medium pressure, all the time wet. Rinse the resulting sludge every now and then and keep surfaces moist.

(If more convenient, you can also move the repair stone after working; stability and water are important.)

3 Effect control and finish

When the grid lines disappear evenly over the entire surface, the stone is flat. Rinse the sludge thoroughly, dry with a towel and leave to dry fully in a ventilated place.
