WAY OF INSTALLING ROYAL GARDEN EDGING

1. Measure the outline of the garden edging with a rope. Spread a piece of string where you plan to install the edging. Then measure the rope with a tape measure to determine how much you will need.
2. Dig a groove with a depth of edging where you will install it. Make sure you dig deep enough so that the plastic edges don’t protrude from the ground. If the edge protrudes, you can hit it with a mower and cause damage.
3. Cut off any small roots that stand in the way of the trench. Use cutting shears to remove any plant roots that interfere with the trench of depth, however, leave any large tree roots that stand in the way as it will be easier to trim the edging to accommodate them. After cutting off the small roots, remove them from the ditch to have free space to work.
4. Place the edging in the trench. Press the edge firmly into the trench Make sure that the top, edge is at the level of the trench surface.
5. Cut a notch in the plastic edge if there is a large tree root. Use scissors or a knife to cut a gap on the edge if there is a large root.
6. Fill the excavated groove with earth. Use a shovel to place the soil you previously dug back into the ditch. Make sure the soil is tightly packed.
7. Foot the arches of the edges. Flatten the ground to make it compact.
8. Water the periphery to inhabit the soil. Walk along the newly installed periphery with a garden hose. Lightly water the soil on both sides of the edge.
