Sony E 18-135 mm f/3.5-5.6 is a lightweight and compact zoom lens. The lens is lightweight (weighing only 324g) and has a small size (67.2 mm in diameter and 88 mm in length), yet it hides great possibilities. In combination with the α Sony series, it allows you to achieve effects comparable to much larger devices. It is perfect for everyday photography, as well as sophisticated shots of nature, landscapes or portraits. One aspherical lens provides high resolution from the center to the edge of the frame, and two ED (very low dispersion) glass lenses effectively reduce chromatic aberration. In addition, the Sony E APS-C lens has a built-in optical image stabilization system, which greatly facilitates shooting and allows you to take still photos.

The 7-leaf circular aperture combined with the small focusing distance (45 cm) and magnification up to 0.29x allow to maintain focus even when shooting small objects, while providing the effect of a beautifully blurred background.

In addition, the SEL18135 lens is ideal for filming and shooting in circumstances requiring quiet behaviour - a precise linear motor drives the lens' AF system for fast, precise and quiet operation.
